ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

FurLove is committed to making our website, furlove.shop (“Site”), accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Conformance status

The Site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. This means some parts of the content do not fully meet the standard yet. We’re working to improve identified issues on a rolling basis.

Measures we take

• Semantic HTML, proper heading order, ARIA landmarks where helpful

• Keyboard navigation and visible focus states

• Alt text for meaningful images; decorative images marked accordingly

• Sufficient color contrast in UI and text

• Labels, instructions, and error messages for forms

• Descriptive link text and consistent navigation patterns

• Language attributes and responsive design for multiple devices

Known issues & temporary alternatives

We continuously test and fix issues. Current items on our list:

• Third-party widgets (e.g., social feeds, analytics, payment pop-ups) may not be fully keyboard or screen-reader friendly.

• Media captions/transcripts: Older videos may lack captions; we’re updating them.

• Image galleries: Some gallery components may not expose full context to assistive tech; we provide product details in adjacent text.

Compatibility with browsers & assistive technology

The Site is designed to work with the latest two versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on current Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Older browsers/OS or heavy script-blocking may reduce accessibility.

Technical specifications

Accessibility relies on: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. The Site runs on a modern website builder and may include third-party apps.

Assessment approach

We use internal self-evaluation, automated checks, and manual testing with keyboard and screen-reader workflows. We prioritize fixes that remove barriers for the most common tasks (browsing products, adding to cart, checkout, contacting support).
